Old cast ... New cast ...

Guess what!
Today I had my cast changed.
I saw the orhtopod who said my leg has begun to heal & that I could have my cast changed from the full leg cast to a half leg cast. What a relief, finally some improvement after 10 weeks.
The new cast is much lighter & I am now able to bend my knee. The surgeon wants to see me again in 4 weeks for another x-ray & hopes the cast may finally be able to come off then. Here's hoping.

Ricky's Birthday 2007

Today is Ricky's Birthday.

Ricky has had a little party at Granny & Grandpa's in Canberra.
Ricky's Cousins Constantine & Sophia came with their mum & dad Rebecca & Dimitri, Uncle Mark also came & of course Granny & Grandpa & Dad.
Ricky received some lovely gifts & we had a nice lunchtime party with lollies & Cake at the end.

Leaking roof in Hughes

Today in Hughes we had a decent rain storm, during the storm Vicki noticed there was water running down the wall in the bedroom near the kitchen, John suggested she should call Dimitri who when he heard decided to call the fire brigade! Vicki felt very embarased as the water was only minor but the fire brigade came anyway with 4 burly firemen checking out the problem! OOPS maybe that was a bit of overkill on the part of Dimitri?
