Yesterday about 1pm a bushfire broke out near the top corner of our street in Broulee. The NSW Rural Fire Service came to the rescue with several appliances forcing the fire away from homes & were able to let the fire burn through to the beach just 1 street away from us. The fire caused lots of thick smoke & burned out about 30ha of bushland just to the southwest of Broulee.
Homes along McNee St were directly threatened during the day on 21/01/07.
